Jabillo: 3 Pipe Stand
Jabillo has a prehistoric look to me. I’ve made two stands from it and they are both free hands. Its grain is wide, wispy, and has hints of red. The wood is a golden color. I had a small piece of Coco Bolo I was saving to use with the Jabillo. It had a bright floral design in reds and oranges. The two together make the piece. This piece has a organic quality to it. Really a piece of sculpture. By the way for your edification, those are Jon Rinaldi’s pipes and the bee-hive with the Rosewood colored stem is something we designed together. It is beautiful pipe and I love the fact that it is a one of a kind he made for me.
Base: Coco Bolo and Cherry
