Spalted Tamarind: 7 Pipe Stand

Spalted Tamarind is a very interesting and unique wood. It is truly alive. How “bout dem legs”? You might think it was a costly addition to use black and white ebony as legs and you’d be right. But they really make the piece. I couldn’t help myself. The two woods work so well together. I even tapered them by hand. This is a real eye catcher of a stand. The Rosewood trim was the perfect choice and the Wenge in the middle grabs the browns of the Tamarind. Definitely not a boring piece.
