I was hounding Gerry for weeks to get me a piece of Buckeye. Finally he got some that was so outrageous my jaw dropped when I saw it. Well worth the wait. Grays, Blues, Egg Shells, and Blacks dancing with one another. “It’s Alive”. Had to double up on the base. Really no choice with a piece of wood like this. The trim really punches out the piece. Just a knockout. I’ll wait a while to get a piece like this again.

Base: Buckeye Burl, Satine

Trim: Satine (Blood Wood),Canary Wood (Yellow Heart), Gabon Ebony
