I have a customer that purchased some green finished pipes.His instruction were simple. Do what you want. I’ve seen a lot of carvers using green and an accent color. Joe Skoda and Grant Batson have done some really nice pipes and I liked the look. Steve Norse came to the show yesterday and brought me an entire Burl to mill and play with. I actually thought it was a 2 day show and was so happy not to have to drive back to Jersey I went down to the shop this morning and started playing around. I couldn’t stop until I was done. After all for me it was a free day.

These two stands are headed to friends in Germany Holger Gunia and Manfred Hortig. Both are solid pipe makers and I hope they can get some good use out of them.
